Lights. Camera. Action

So today was the big day! Today is the day we decided to bring our short film to life. So we all arrived at Tyanna's house ready to film; we quickly went over what everybody had to say and do and we even provided scripts for all our actors.

So we've began our filming but of course the camera was about to die! but this wasnt a set back as we decided to use the GoPro to film our "Drowning Scenes" We had the GoPro linked up with Johnny's IPad which enabled us to see everything our actor could and make some adjustments as to where the GoPro was posistioned. We actually got quite a few good takes with the GoPro placed at the bottom of the bath, which would have been really good if we were able to use them. However..... our actor decided to smile while being drowned. Who smiles while being drowned?!?!?!

We then went back to using the Canon (which by the way is brilliant) to film one of the last character's death. This actor had to be wrapped in cling film to portray her experiencing "Sleep Paralysis". The idea behind the cling film was to convey that in her mind she was trapped, and was stiff, unable to move. We then used some food colouring to portray blood. However..... There was a little mistake with the food colouring as a little too much was poured out and unfourtunately just a tad went on Tyanna's bed but it was all good.
