You're Trapped!!!!!!!!
So, today I came across this short film called "Paralyzed" Directed by Aaron Sims. So i'll just give you the bases of this film:
This woman decides to pay a visit to this motel where her boyfriend has been staying due to sleep paralysis (he needed some time away from the house). The boyfriend then explains to his girlfriend that what he's experiencing is more than just Sleep Paralysis and he can feel and I quote "something chocking me..." You can tell that the gilfriend isn't fully 100% understanding the way he's feeling until she decides to take a nap and experiences the true meaning of "Sleep Paralyis". Once she was aware she couldn't move your were able to see this figure which I would describe as a "beast" moving towards her. However, she was unable to move...
One thing in particular that I liked about this short film was the use of camera angles that were used throughout the film to convey a sense of distress and fear.
I also liked the way the director used different lighting within the scene. Outside had some high-key lighting where as, as soon the girlfriend walked into the house, the whole room was filled with low-key lighting which portrayed that there was a dark entity present within that house.
