'Cause this is Thriller!

So, Olympus Has Fallen is a great thriller film. It includes so many conventions of a thriller. For example, there were quick changes of camera angles and jump cuts were used between each scene.

The editing in this thriller film is very important as it crops the film and by doing so sharply between scenes of hight and low tension can leave the viewer unsetteled and convinced that something bad is going to happen in the everyday ordinary scene.

The use of shadows, mirrors and stairs in this film is very imortanat as each one could hide the 'bad guy' or evil that is out to get everyone. They are used and played on alongside shadows to create the switching effect of safe and unsafe as the camera angles and cuts of footage switch in sharp and short timing.
